I am Athulya Viswanath, a professional fashion designer and graduate in Bachelor of Fashion Technology from Assumption College. During my academic journey, I had the opportunity to participate in two fashion shows, which helped shape my creative vision and passion for design. I was also honored with the Best Garment Design & Construction Award at Fashion Meets Culture 2016, an achievement that became one of the strongest inspirations behind my dream of building my own fashion brand.

During graduation, I also got the opportunity to complete an internship at Gokaldas Exports in 2017, where I gained valuable industry exposure and practical knowledge about garment production, fashion manufacturing, and international standards.

Fashion has always been more than a career for me — it is a part of my life and identity. We come from a family with a small-scale stitching unit managed by my mother, and I spent most of my childhood surrounded by yarns, fabrics, tailoring machines, and the beautiful rhythm of craftsmanship. The sounds of sewing machines and the creativity within the unit were never new to me; they became a natural part of my everyday life.

After graduation, I spent nearly seven years exploring different areas of the fashion industry, learning, growing, and gaining valuable experience. The dream of starting a brand began during my college days itself, but we believed the right time would come with patience, preparation, and experience.

After my marriage in 2022, we traveled across India, visiting various manufacturing units and exploring different aspects of the fashion and textile industry. Those journeys helped us understand the market more deeply and strengthened our vision. Although we could not launch the brand immediately, years of planning, dedication, and experience finally led us to this special moment.

The name Vselennaya comes from a Russian word meaning "Universe." We chose this name because our vision is to design clothing for people from all walks of life. We believe fashion should make everyone feel confident, elegant, and connected to their own unique universe.
